Twenty-five years ago Baffin Footwear began manufacturing insulated and non-insulated footwear products. While traditional molded boots are suitable for some conditions, they are not ideal for cold temperatures. I ordered these in November and these are the best boots I have ever worn! I work in electrical substations so I am on my feet all day, in all conditions. These boots have it all: comfort, warmth, reliable waterproofing, quality arch supporting inserts, plenty of toe room, lightweight, and very attractive. The softer leather used on the tongue is a nice touch, and the little cutout along the eyelets that allow the ankle to bend freely reminds me that the people at Baffin put a lot of thought into making an incredible work boot. The traction on the tread is beyond compare. All these features and it still has a low price! The only negative thing i can think of is that once in a while a pebble will get caught in the treads. I would also prefer if these could be made in America (or even Canada) instead of China- it would be worth the extra cost. Just ordered a second pair to have backup boots, and another pair in the 6" version. My feet love these boots!

Took a week to get 'em broke in. After that, I haven't looked back. I work in the LTL freight industry and so far, in 12 years, this is the best and most comfortable boot for the money.

The size seems to run small. The boot was too high, stiff and uncomfortable. Who knows how it would have held up
